I wonder if he was just testing to see if Lance would bite, I think today,
if Lance had, Ulrich might have been able to beat him and then put some
doubts into Lance about the remaining days of the tour. Going further, maybe
Jan, or the DS figured that the worst that could happen was the eventual
result. Ulrich did make some time back and has a shot at the podium again.
