Went to J.D.Cycles in Ilkley with Mrs.Salt yesterday to view some tandems ( ?? tandii ) as suggested by Clive George of this parish.
Had a long chat with a very friendly and knowlegable chap,no hard sell just friendly advice ( as opposed to the very dogmatic " we are right " approach of SJSC on their website ).
Was most impressed with the whole set up.
Was even offered the the free loan of a machine for a day or half a day at some time of our choosing with a suggested route to Bolton Abbey and back.
They even provided some water and a playmate for the dog.
Seemed a friendly bunch all round I think I know where the purchase will be made.
