Italian Herb Breadsticks

Yield: 24 servings.
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 1/2 teaspoons dried Italian
seasoning 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 pound frozen bread
dough, thawed 2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine 1
tablespoon kosher salt or 1 1/2 teaspoons iodized salt
Combine cheese, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Cut
dough into 24 pieces. Roll each piece into a 12-inch rope.
Sprinkle evenly with Parmesan mixture. Place ropes, 1 inch
apart, on lightly greased baking sheets. Cover with
plastic wrap; let rise at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake breadsticks for 15
minutes or until golden. Remove from oven, brush with
melted butter, and sprinkle with salt. Let cool on wire
racks for 10 minutes.
PER BREADSTICK: 66 calories; 2g fat (27 percent calories
from fat); 1g saturated fat; 3mg cholesterol; 2g protein;
10g carbohydrate; 1g sugar; 0.5g fiber; 356mg sodium; 20mg
