  1. Set out on my ride to work this morning and found that due to the
change to GMT the sky was already starting to get light. Why would I be
disappointed at that? I wanted to give my new Cat Eye Double Shot
lights a good try out. From what I saw, I was pleased, but I'm looking
forward to the dark lanes tonight.

Wasn't it dark last night too?

Sadly, I'm a weak and feeble twice a week rider. That is how often I
manage my 50 mile, round trip. Yesterday, (all my troubles seemed so
far away), it was my turn to have a lift from my friend who I car share
with twice a week, which was lucky as my car is ill with a head gasket
failure. The days when I'm not riding, I'm either lift sharing and/or
doing a big shop on my return journey. I could logistically manage
three times a week, but I'd have to rearrange things.

Doesn't sound too feeble to me, it's still further per week than my
    current every day commute.

With the car difficulties, I'm contemplating moving much closer to work and
giving up the car. Anyhoo - very happy with the lights on the very dark ride
home. Would be a bit more difficult an a totally moonless night.
