I got a box o' bits for the fixie today. I wound up getting the Miche
Primato hubs (32h) and cranks (165mm) along with a Chorus headset because
it's pretty and I was feeling extravagant. It's starting to <a
href="http://flickr.com/photos/34933544@N00/188058939/">look like something
that resembles a bike</a> The cranks were poorly packed which resulted in
the left arm rattling against the chainring and getting slightly marked.
It's where I'd scuff it up anyway, the supplier (aebike.com) is in the US
and it may not have been their fault so I'm not going to chase it. Besides,
people always look at the other side of the bike. I like the combo of paint
and chrome even more than I thought I would too. I was originally going to
paint the forks like the bike but when I wound up with the chrome forks I
thought I'd reserve judgement. I'm rather glad I did.
