Hotter n hell I say. I just returned from a galivant around the east coast. I just wanted to get
back in and say hi. The riding I did was great. I hooked up with some riders from Chapel Hill. They
showed me how to do it east coast style. I was impressed with the riding near town called " High
School Trails". Although I am not much into stunts. I was able to drop everything the locals could
do. I didn't have to worry about burning the grease out of my rear hub there. Disk brakes are a nice
to have item in the hot, damp place. I also hooked up with some NRMBA members and rode the " New
Light trails" I have ridden this stuff before. But they all schooled me in the fine art of getting
webbed. We were the first in the parking lot and they said I should go first to get used to the
humidity. My ASS! After a week in Cary training to fix broke stuff. I headed up to western PA to
visit with some family. I found some local trails in Sharon, PA that were a nice leg stretcher to
take a break from the intense visiting. One day we went up to Erie, PA to the state beach there. It
is amazing how many comfort bikes one sees in places like these. I am sure there is some good riding
around there. But why......nevermind. I am sure they are happy with their comfy bikes. Overall it is
good to be back in GJ CO. Where it is hotter n hell. And so is the singletrack.
