I got my dual Chuck Pump attachment. Looks good.
I also got a set of new wheels. deep aero rims. I changed the tire onto the new front wheel and grabbed my new chuck. BOOOOOOO!
It won't work until I get new tubes. The valves don't stick out far enough to allow the new chuck to seal.
Back to screwing on the adaptor.
By 'screwing on the adapter', I assume that you mean putting a Schrader adapter on the presta valve. You can also buy (power-on cycling) valve extenders to add the necessary height to the presta valves to stick out of the aero rims. Much cheaper than long stem presta tubes. and reusable from tube to tube. -- Cletus D. Lee Bacchetta Giro Lightning Voyager clee.orgclee.orgOpen ↗ - Bellaire, TX USA -

Well, there *are* valve extenders for Presta valves. You don't *have* to get new tubes... and the extenders increase your chances of finding a replacement tube at a bike shop.
