  1. I have decided to buy an FSA Team Issue Carbon Crankset for my Giant NRS Composite 2 mountain bike, but I have read of durability issues with FSA's Bottom Brackets.

Does anyone know if the new models have been corrected of this design flaw?

Also, any opinions on a better ISIS bottom bracket would be much appreciated.

    THANKS!!

  2. Not so sure on the FSA BB current situation . How much $ are you willing to spend ?

I know you can get a FSA or Race Face... or Tru-Vativ Titanium spindal BB for right about $80 - and they are pretty light.

Another piece to consider, if durability is your concern(which should be for BB bering movements) , highly consider a DH Isis BB !!! 🙂 ... like a Race-Face Signature DH model - they have MORE berings , more rows of berings , just overall better fatigue life...... but do weight 1-2oz. more then a traditional BB. I personally went with the Race-Face SGX Isis BB - 64 berings , for only $25 ......... well see in the coming years how durable it will be , but I should ge my $25 worth out of it.
