Is Vinokourov a Discovery possibility?

This article makes it sound like Vino is still a Lance replacement
possibility on Discovery:

But Bruynell made a statement to the effect that Vino couldn't win the tour
and that Discovery wasn't interested.

I personally think that was a very stupid statement to make. Maybe Vino
isn't in the class of Ulrich or Basso, but he's better than Hincapie or
Popavych. And he's a very exciting and aggressive racer.

Anyway, any scoop on whether Vino might still end up at Discovery?
