I think something got lost in translation. All "blood doping" is banned, e.g. this covered Actovegin in the USPS scandal despite the fact that it was not explicitly named. Sounds like DynEPO is basically recombinant DNA manufactured in human cells rather than animal cells which makes it hard to detect. I think what he means is that there is not an excepted criteria for a positive dope test for DynEPO. They are working on it at the moment.

It is still doping. There is no test for HgH but it still doping if you get caught taking it somehow.
