I was thinking about getting these to put on my Trek 1.1. Just wondering if this is a good deal. The guy is asking $100. He said the shifters aren't working but are probably serviceable. I know Dura Ace is top quality but I don't know a great deal about components when looking at them. Can anyone tell me approximately how old these are from looking at the picture?

My understanding is that the Shimano shifters are not rebuildable -
That being said, a good crankset is worth more than $100 🙂 so it may be a good deal on it's own. Can't tell the generation though.....
Anything wrong with the components on your bike now?

There's nothing wrong with my components now. They're low quality 2300 group though so I thought this could make for a cheap upgrade. Looks like it's been sold already so I might just spend my money on a well needed tune-up!
