  1. At the LBS that I have been doing business with since I was about 10 (35 now), the owner (same owner!!) offered me a Trek 2200 with blue anodized Race Light wheels for $1400.00. I already said I want it, does this sound like a good deal to you? I was going to buy a Bianchi Giro for $1300.00, untill he mentioned the 2200...
    Thanks,
    Joe

  2. I paid a lot more than that for my 2002 2200 but that was in the UK so presume they are cheaper anyway in the US. But I think the more recent 2200 models are WSDs!!! So you had better make sure which this bike is (assuming you are male of course). Mine came with those wheels which have been perfect for a few thousand miles plus mostly Ultegra components which have not given me a second's trouble either. Sounds like a good deal to me suject to my earlier point.

    Thanks for answering,
I assure you it is not a WSD. It is a standard 2004 2200. The wheels that come on it are black painted Bontrager Race, the ones I will be getting are blue Bontrager Race Lite wheels. I bought 2 Trek kids bikes and my wifes Trek 1200 from them in the last couple of months. When the owner offered me the 2200 with upgraded wheels, and my wife said ok to buy it, what else could I do?? I will be picking it up in a couple of days!!
    Thanks
    Joe

Think you could post a picture when you get it?
