Hi All, I seemed to have developed a habit of twisting my left foot to the left when making left
turns during my MTB tours. This weekend, I had a 6 hour ride - longest in a year, usually do 3 hours
- . I ride 2001 version 979 SPDs set very loose, this new habit cause unclipping and I now get a
sharp pain in ankle depending on how I make a step or stand on foot a certain way. I also use my
left foot to 'foot down' when stopping.
Can anyone give advice, is there a mental thing going on? I don't remember doing this on my old MTB
bike which had the 91 version of SPD or was the early version allowed more float? I do not do this
on right turns! at least I'm not having any problems with my right foot. I don't think I do it on
high speed left turns or maybe its less noticable then. TIA <paul
