This is pretty off topic but it's snowing and I'm having a tough time getting motivated to jump on the rollers, so here it goes. First of all the religion doesn't bother me, although I would agree that he could dial it back publicly. It's the fact that I cannot turn on the T.V. without getting Tebow Time shoved down my throat. I moved to Denver in September and have had the pleasure of watching Mr. Tebow play incredibly mediocre football and getting praise like he's an automatic first round ballot. Yes the games he has won are entertaining and yes he put together a pretty good stretch of wins, but come on!!! Eli just did what Tebow did in a couple of games, difference it was the Super Bowl. If you turn on the T.V. just two days after the Super Bowl there is a segment One on One with Tim Tebow, who cares? I can't really describe why I hate him so much but the more I watch the more I dislike him. I know it is irrational but I can't seem to put my finger on why. So is it oaky to hate Tim Tebow or should I jump on the Jesus with a flak jacket band wagon?

As I heard (secondhand) Larry the Cable Guy put it, "The media hasn't been this obsessed with a white Bronco since O.J. Simpson."

It was such a nice weekend with a couple of long rides with friend and zero football. Sunday was the best as I was able to completely avoid any glimpse of the National Football Circle Jerk. Now, you had to ruin that whole vibe with the mention of football. I'm way more interested in what the upcoming year will hold for the first and second year American pros on the ProTour. Hell, there are a lot of promising new pros--no matter the country of origin--in the ProTour this year.

Wow! And I thought my wife whined about football Sundays - sheeesh! How that attitude found it's way onto this thread is beyond my comprehension - must've took a wrong turn at the keyboard. LOL!
Anyway, Tebow's a player - not a true QB, but the NFL machine will find a place for him. Hate him? Please. Those that do need to find a life. Regardless, the attention Tebow's receiving is not of his doing - it's the media types that are the attention-[censored].

What are you saying... where is the fun in hate? Drop down on one knee and thank God for Tebow... and for TebowING. Of all the trends that have come and gone over recent years a brief public prayer has to be the least objectionable (IMHO). They play games you know... it shouldn't be taken too seriously.
