Is E.U. Israel Stance Hypocritical

Hmmm, that reads not so good. I mean, I don't agree any army should cause civilians to suffer when it can be helped and that includes Israel. The point I'm making, though, is that NATO didn't respect civilian life in Yugolslavia yet the E.U. has suddenly assumed a stance of moral superiority. If governments want Israel, Russia and China to respect civilian life during conflict they should at least set an example themselves.
Thousands of children in Iraq have suffered due to war and children in Serbia were also injured or killed. That's my rant for today.

Indeed, NATO were quite happy to bomb the [censored] out of bridges and power plants, and they never bothered to present a sufficient evidence to support their case for doing so either. Same goes in Iraq, in fact the hypocracy is so deep rooted that I have been unable to convince some Americans that the US Military had in fact attacked power plants, water works, sewage treatment plants in Iraq (let alone Serbia)...

However there is a serious point here. The folks in Gaza have been under siege conditions for a long time and their condition is considerably worse to start with. The destruction of the power plant will have more of an impact because *ALL* their fresh water, heat and light was dependent on that one plant. Gaza is the most densely populated area on the entire planet, so not only is there a far higher likelihood of dehydration in Gaza, but there is a far higher risk of concentration camp type diseases such as Cholera. That could quite easily kill tens of thousands of children in no time flat.

Israel is in effect conducting a medieval style siege on the indigenous people of their land, and I have absolutely no doubt that they fully expect disease and dehydration to severely injure and kill thousands of Gazans.

There are a lot of wrongs on all sides. With respect to the Palestinian people it seems to me Hamas hasn't helped them since they've been in power, although I can relate to the fact many Palestinians used Hamas as a protest vote.
The thing is bombing power plants isn't a good thing no matter who does it. In all cases it's deplorable children should suffer be they Jewish, Palestinian or Iraqi.
I wish these military people on all sides would join the human race and show some compassion for fellow human beings but sadly even the Americans don't seem to realise what a bad example is being set to other countries.
