  1. Ive recently been eating beef jerky as a between meal snack.
It seems perfect, high protein, low fat and carbs. Is this a
    good snack?

Check labels: LOTS of salt, which is bad for blood pressure,
and usually lots of sugar and preservatives as well. The
real stuff, plain old sun-dried beef without all the
processing, would probably turn you off -- if was stiff as a
board and as flavorful as chewing your shoes.

Beware the "snacks" branch of the food industry bearing
"health". They're just trying to sell you stuff.
