  1. I am trying to sign up for the lottery on Active.com and don't understand what they mean by Ironman
    ID and password?? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. BA

    Once you've done, or signed up for an IM you get an Iron Man
    ID. I think this was started recently. Some handy thing that keeps all of your race results
    together, events you've participated in etc. Also gets you discounts at certain places. Didn't
    know you needed one to sign up for the lottery though.

  3. Looks like you have to go to the "Active" web site and register for membership so they can collect
    data on you to distribute to others. Typical of all thing from WTC these days.

    Safer to just go train and win a slot. You don't have to ask for welfare that way. Other option is
    to do an Ironman distance event other than IMH. Welfare sucks, just like drafting.
