  2. As explained to you on this list before Tom, it is manganese
    levels that are associated with greater stores of iron in
    diabetics. This means iron levels are an effect of manganese
    being stored and not that iron causes diabetes or greater
    mortality. Diabetes is a well known risk factor for
    mortality, so the study shows nothing thatt supports your
    thesis, sorry. Diseases/disorders cause more iron to be
    stored, iron does not cause diabetes, diabetics have
    increased mortality. It is the never ending mistake you make
    to confuse cause and effect in these studies which almost
    always state that something is found to go with something
    else, both of which can in fact be caused by some third not
    stated reason.

    sudden onset of studdering. Facts are such stubborn things,
    ain't it too true. In the article, a metabolic condition had
    to be in place for the increased iron stores to be a
    mortality risk. Sorry this doesn't support your thesis that
    iron .CAUSES. mortality.
