  1. Has anyone been using IRD chains? Comments? The other stuff they sell
    seems high quality.

I'm running the 1010 Pro, Shimano compatible 10 speed with snap link,
along with IRD cassette and FSA rings. I don't have enough miles to
assess durability, but shifting is flawless.

The snap link is very similar to the SRAM powerlink in shape and
function, as opposed to Wipperman asymmetric connex, but not quite as
easy to open and close. Due to this, I'll likely be on SRAM again as
soon as they make a 10 speed. All in all, I have had the best luck
with SRAM in terms of durability, shifting, and ease of maintenance.
