Hello everyoneThis is an invitation to interested cyclists to join
Brisbane's
Central Business District Bicycle User Group (CDB BUG).
Formed in early 2005 the CDB BUG is an unincorporated group of Brisbane
cyclists who have been actively campaigning for better facilities, safer
roads and easier access for all cyclists who travel to, from, or through
Brisbane's CBD.
The BUG meets monthly to discuss relevant issues, as well as having
guest speakers such as cycling advocates, transport officials, police etc
attend to address the group .
A recent example of an issue to which the CDB BUG has directed its
energies has been negotiating with local council and the construction
company in relation to the impacts on cyclists arising from the works
for the North South Bypass Tunnel.
The cost to join is free and can be done simply by emailing your contact
details to [email hidden].
