  1. I'm currently a 3rd year Mechanical Engineer in Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. Over the next summer we are encouraged to do an internship. As a cyclist, I would love to do one in the cycling industry.

Does anyone have any idea about the best way to go about applying? Through our college we get told about opportunities in various industry, but never in the cycling industry. Is it because they aren't bothered or they don't normally take on Interns?

I would really like to do an internship in something I'm interested in instead of some crappy banking internship doing [censored] all.

    Any help is appreciated!

  2. College should help you out in your search, do they have an internship coordinator for example ? you could even try overseas, send your application directly to the big factories, follow your dream but don't close the door completely on other options, you can always retry in the future after you graduate, who knows,
