try cutting the pork rinds 50/50 with some of those crispy fried onion
things. They're not TERRIBLY high in carbs, and it'd add some nice flavour
too!

No calorie savings there. Hubby's pork rind bag says 80 calories
per 14g serving. The onion ring can says 40 calories per 7g serving.
My onion ring can says 3g carb per 2 tablespoons. That would not go
very far for breading. I didn't use them during my weightloss period,
but occasionally sprinkle them on some veggies in maintenance.

Wasn't really concerned with calories so much as 'something other than pork
rinds' and a little additional flavour...I thought they might be a touch
'lighter' but I guess not. :-) If you're only using a quarter cup of pork
rinds per say, chicken breast, you can do 2 tbs of pork rinds, and 2 tbs of
onions. Yum! :P
