Hi, I own a Trek 1000c and would like to update it with a carbon fork. I think my bike has an integated head but don't know for sure. Can anyone help me? Also, if it does have an integrated head can I assume the carbon fork has to be for integrated heads only. I'm confussed on the difference in the fork. Thanks in advance for anyone wanting to help.

Trek 1000C does not have an integrated headset. take it along to your LBS for a quote.
Since your asking these questions, you probably are not going to be putting it together yourself anyway, or shouldnt be.
