  1. I was hoping someone could help me with my problem. I dont know if the indoor trainers are supposed to be like this but when I mount my bike onto the trainer and begin pedalinig on my bike, the pedaling has little to non resistance. Are the trainers supposed to be like this or is there a way of creating more resistance.

I'm new to the sport of cycling and have started to ride 25 miles a day. Today the weather here in NYC was rainy and I was unable to cycle outdoors. THanks for all of your help

  2. There should be some sort of knob/lever/wheel on the rear that increases resistance. What model trainer do you have?

    L

  3. Also, don't forget to crank the knob that puts the resistance wheel in contact with the tire (and then give it another couple turns to prevent slippage).

  4. And depending on your trainer, many depend on wheel speed. If you've tried all of the above, try moving to a higher gear.
