  1. I just went to one of the high end LBS tonight to try a Kinetics trainer for myself (to replace my 15 year old or older wind trainer). Sitting there was a roller that allows you to ride quite poorly to be honest (or aggressively!!). Its an Inside Ride brand set of rollers. PIcs are worth more than words so heres a link www.insideride.com

There are some interesting videos in the gallery, one of a guy trying to kill himself and he cannot fall off the darn thing.

anyways-I guess there fairly new, but does anyone own one or know of any first hand experience? Its not cheap at $795.00, but it certainley is revolutionary for rollers.

Man-I thught I was breaking the bank thinking about a $300 fluid trainer!!

  2. I did ride it btw. It was very easy to ride, but I have never been much of a roller person. It was also dirt simple to coast down, click out and lean the bike over and get off. I never wanted to have to concentrate on form more than just getting the HR up and finishing the ride to get off the darn thing. But I am older and hopefully wiser now and I think going to rollers will help my form tremendousely.

Anyways-$795!! Thats well on my way to my TT bike!!!
