  1. Ran a search on the forum and couldn't come up with anything. Recently back into the road bike after years of ski racing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. Have been doing about 25-30 miles outside 2-3 times per week at about 16-17 MPH with relatively un-spectacular elevation changes. Plan to keep riding outdoors but when the snow, ice and resulting salt/sand start getting too much too handle I plan to either use the fluid trainer I have but have never touched or possibly go the roller route? Anyone give me the short list of pro-cons for the two. Rollers just seem more interesting too me - a bit more dynamic environment - thoughts please

  2. A trainer is better for power training while rollers trade some of that functionality for pack riding skills training.
