  1. Hi all,
I have a giant yukon '04 model, but with the weather becoming a bit colder I
was wondering if there was a bike mount/indoor thing that you could attach
to the back wheel of this particular mountain bike (like you can for racing
bikes) to turn it into a type of exercise bike for indoor use? Hope someone
out there knows that I'm talking about...thanks in advance,

    Geoff.

yep you can use a trainer with an MTB, but you will probably find that you
need to swap to a slick/semi tire for this purpose, high treads don't work
so good as you'd imagine. Some people get a spare wheel with a slick tire
and keep it indoors for use with the trainer for this reason.
