I recently changed my e-mail preference to abridged digest mode because of the high volume of messages, many on subjects having little to do with technical issues. To my surprise, I've received no digests for the last couple of days. I just went to the group site, and the last message posted seems to be on Sept. 21!

I don't know how you are reading / posting, but with my news service and filters I still see anywhere from 150 to 200 new messages a day.

The only thing amiss is that you don't seem to know what Usenet is or how to access it directly.
