  1. ......on your Paleo style of eating....how is that going these days? Are you
still eating the same way and running? how is the training coming? Can you
    run much with the snow?

  2. Yes, hi, Ig!

I had to cut back running and do more hillwalking after I got a chronic
calf strain, but I'm still covering 50 miles a week and expending the
same HR. I'm now back on v. strict induction, and it hasn't impeded my
running at all, despite lots of huf n' puf from others.

I've already lost the few pounds I'd gained over the holiday, but I fear
a week in Paris is looming, and there's no way I'm sticking to
lowcarbing there. I'm too big a fan of boulangerie. What I will do is
give myself a carb curfew - bread for breakfast, bread at lunch, but
consomme/cheese/meat/salad at dinner. And I shall stick mostly to pain
complet and to sourdoughs, and of course avoid any actual sugar -
patisserie isn't really my vice, but rather le boulanger francais. I
expect I'll gain, but not too horrendously.

Then it will be back to v. lowcarbing for another month. I read
somewhere that it takes you as many days on your normal low diet to lose
the weight as it did to gain it on holiday.
