Icons for Anquet

Dave, I created a set of Garmin "look-alike" Icons for Anquet. I'm afraid
that there's no way to bulk load them, you just have to add them one at a
time. I know that this is under review by Anquet. Note - it won't upload the
"correct" icon to the GPS upload process (yet??)

Let me know if you'd like a copy.

Also - the installation CD (at least the newer ones) also has some under a
"NewIcons" folder.

I don't know if it would apply with Anquet maps, but for the Fugawi maps I
use, I like to draw my own.
Using Window Explorer, search for the Icon folder associated with Anquet
maps, then open an icon file using the Windows Paint program, resave the
file with an appropriate name then re-draw the graphic. some icons might be
16x16 others 32x32. The bottom left pixel usually determines the
"transparent" colour.

I usually use purple as the transparent colour, so I colour the whole
graphic purple first, then I draw my new icon

I don't know if this will help.

Icons in Anquet are not stored as bitmaps, so cannot be updated in this way.
However, any standard paint program can be used to create the icon - just
save it as *.ico file and it can be imported.
