  1. I have been planning on getting a 'bent for some years, but it has not
been a financial possibility. I saw a response to somebody else's
question on here which mentioned 3 Actionbents on ebay. I have bought them.
Although these are not high-cost bikes, all the reviews I have found
are excellent, and components are good.
They should be arriving next weekend. The plan is to sell two of them
back on ebay. If I don't get on with any of them they can all go back on
    ebay.
All I have to do now is learn to ride it!

I think that makes you my young sith apprentice 😉

That's very exciting Jo. I was interested in the auction myself, if I
hadn't already bought my own 'bent a couple of months ago I'd
definitely have been bidding at those. Looks like you got a good
price. With some experimentation, and then some wheeler dealing, you
could get a nice bent for not very much money. Good show!

Do let us know how you get on. I promised to do that myself about my
own bent, but working away has stopped me playing with it since the
purchase, so am only now getting to grips with it (and having much fun
    in process).

I like the idea of being your 'young Sith apprentice', but I'm really
    quite middle-aged!

Wheeler dealing is part of the plan!

I expect to take a while to become competent/confident, but it will come.
