    Not gonna happen...
    A year, maybe.

8 ro 10 lbs. per month is about the fastest you can lose fat weight, and
    that is pushing it.

You took awhile to get that big, it's going to take awhile to lose it!

Low carb dieting and regular excercize. A good walking program to start
since you obviously can't run, and a stationary bike along with a good
    weight lifting program.

The #1 FASTEST way to lose weight is the "Atkins fat fast" but it will
kill you if you keep it up too long. ;-) I'll occasionally use it for a
few days to break a plateau in my own weight loss, but I sure don't
    recommend it for long term!

What it really does for me is to get me back on track if I start
wandering off the diet plan. It's so strenuous, it helps to boost the
self discipline. It's also boring as hell!

Read up on the "South Beach" diet, or "The Greenwich Diet" by Dr. Colgan.
It's just a personal opinion, but I like those two the best...

Give up fast food and learn how to cook.

    And buy a Foreman Grill.
