Adam: Most people aren't going to have the slightest idea what that account
number means. Also, it would help to know where you're located; it's
possible that the [email hidden] address implies Poland? The typical newsgroup
reader gets spammed with a large number of phony requests for assistance, so
anything you can do to make it clear that yours is real would help you
greatly.
You might also reference anything that might have been printed someplace
about your accident, as well as anyone who might have set up a trust fund to
help you out.
And finally, you might simply elaborate a bit more about who you are; in
fact, you might consider setting up a web page, where you could also go into
more detail about what happened, why the drunk driver wasn't responsible for
paying your medical bills (we can all assume that he/she wasn't insured?)
and what situation is where you live for medical care for those who cannot
afford to pay for it.
