  1. I'm a 33 year old male. I play in an old man's baseball
league on Sundays. In the past couple years I've had days
when I get to the park completely drained of energy. Its not
a lack of sleep so I think its my diet. Are there any foods
I should eat for breakfast for a quick pick-me-up and are
there foods I should stay away from? I can be contacted at
[email hidden]. Thanks for you advice ahead of time.

You could try Atkins and see how you respond after a few
months. Also, it's not very good protocol to ask for
responses via e-mail. The problem with it is that nobody
else can potentially learn from the exchange of ideas if
    it's done in private e-mail.

  3. If you are very physically active or not used to this
activity level you may be what body builders call "burn
out". This usually means your amino acid pools are depleted
and you feel exhausted with little activity. Free form amino
acids can be a good source of replenishment especially as we
age our digestion systems are not as efficient and free form
amino acids are absorbed through the stomache wall and
    require no digestion.
