As my title bluntly states, I need a bike. I am new to this forum and to cycling in general. Anyway, I run cross country and track at a division 1 university and am looking for a nice road bike which I can cross train with(and use for basic transportation since I dont have a car). Im in the city so its pretty much all roads. I want something that'll let me put the miles in on it, durable and if it looks cool thats a plus. But, not something top of the line that will destroy my cash build-up. I can spend maybe around $1200 max without my parents killing me. Im sure this theard makes me sound like a whiney jackass but I know nothing. By the looks of this site you guys know what the hell your talking about. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks😎
