I'll be setting off for the European Bike Express in half an hour which will take me to Calais for this year's adventure - a Channel to Med ride. All being well I'll get picked up at Montpellier on 20th Aug and ferried home to Leeds.
I'm very excited and woke up an hour early. In common with my two End to End rides I've had a family holiday first. This year's was in Lindos on Rhodes where the temperature peaked at 47 should be suitable prep for the temps on the South coast of France :-) I suppose I could have slotted in a DIY Audax but hey, I'm on holiday :-)

Probs with mobile phone connectivity. I'm back now so maintaining it is no longer an issue. I'll do a brief ride report later. All in all a great adventure.
