BTW, there are plenty of sites which relate to bicycle racing, but like the
Wankel engine, it was cool while it lasted, but didn't have the distance.

A Mazda Wankel won LeMans (1991):
The rotary didn't take over the world but it is still around. Too bad
Mazda didn't put more good looks into that RX8, as they are selling
quite well even with their "questionable" appearance. Those little
suicide-style stub doors are a pretty smooth idea. --D-y
