In just a little over two weeks, I'll get a chance to put faces with names to a couple more ARBR
denizens. The Voyager and me are going on a little trip to Denmark. So Torben and Mikael, look out
here I come.
It all started for me last fall when the Danish Collection of Impressionist art toured the US an
made a stop at the Houston Museum of Art.
There were paintings by danish artists too. A couple of the paintings by L.A. Rine caught my
facination. They were so inviting I felt that I could bike right into the scene.
A few months later Torben Scheel posted on this NG a link to his "commute". In the middle of his
commuting photos was a copy of one of my favorite L.A.Ring works.

It turns out that Torben lives just a few km. from the sight where the artist painted his
landscapes.
My trip will start in København on the Island of Sjaeland. I'll get a chance to look up Mikael
Seierup in København and cycle to Hillerød the first day where Torben lives. After two days on
Sjaeland, I'll take a ferry to the Jutland Peninsula and follow "The Old Military Road from Viborg
to a point wher I can cross onto the island of Fyns. I plan to island hop SE and when I get back to
Sjaeland, I will take a train back to København.
This is going to be my third recumbent tour of Europe and my first solo.
