Have you seen (you really can't have missed it) the news story about the
two Rotties that killed a kid up in Leicester?! I'm sure you would
agree with me that it's a travesty that two dogs have needlessly lost
their lives doing the job they'd been trained to do (ok, tragic that the
baby was attacked, but how do you reason with a dog? Give it a list?
"you must protect this property from this, this, this,this and this, but
not from this, this, this and this. Oh, and this while yer at it"
I'm not going to post a link (cos I'm not going back there) but I was on
the Marillion websites online forum last night and one chap, who goes by
the name of Assassing! (I don't know his real name!) and another chap,
Gabriel Mallory, made a similar point to the one above (i was [censored]
so I forget what's been said) so I just said that "dogs aren't
dangerousTM" (I'm going to tradmark that and put it in my sig!) and I
GOT ATTACKED for having that point of view!
I'm not going to repeat the diatribe, or my response, and sully yer pc
with it, but believe me, I defended myself admirably!
I was gonna ask what yer doing tomorrow afternoon, but then I remember
you do normal shifts and don't have a freaky shift pattern like me!
This is how my shift pattern will go from now on (subject to overtime)
as of this coming saturday:
Saturday:30th sept-OFF
Sunday:1st oct -OFF
Monday:2nd -OFF
Tuesday:3rd -ON
Wednesday:4th -ON
Thursday:5th -OFF
Friday:6th -OFF
Saturday:7th -ON
Sunday:8th -ON
Monday:9th -ON
Tuesday:10th -OFF
Wednesday:11th -OFF
Thursday:12th -ON
Friday:13th(eek!) -ON
Saturday:14th -OFF
Sunday:15th -OFF
Monday:16th -OFF
Tuesday:15th -ON
Wednesday:16th -ON
Thursday:17th -OFF
Friday:18th -OFF
and so on!
Sorry about how long this took, and if it doesn't make much sense, but
I've tpyed as quick as my arthritic hands will go!
