  1. With all the news about athletes and doping, when will EPO be replaced by portable altitude chambers? As technology gets more advanced, smaller in size, and much more affordable to the general populace when will (or if ?) they be the new trend and fixture on the team bus/hotel room/ bedroom?
    Will there be laws to dictate `how much` and `when` they can be used? What is the future for this?

    Just your thoughts...just finished Mt Fuji and was thinking about altitude and the advantages of hypoxic training...(i.e. Mexico City records)

    What I've read on this is that the best approach is to live high and train low. If you use a tent, you don't have to travel to do it. If you train high, you won't be able to exert yourself hard enough to get the best workout. It may be beneficial a half hour here and there, but the bulk of the training would be best at sea level.
