Ordered a lockring tool off this firm late Saturday, it arrived this morning.
Most impressive service.
Pity I'm still waiting for the other bits I need to repair my sick fixie.
Sick because I managed to pull the lockring off the cheesy Sovos hub last
Friday, stripping most of the threads off and unscrewing the sprocket in the
process. A couple of coke-can shims have allowed me to tighten the lockring
down to make it ridable but it's rather...dodgy nevertheless. I might have
to flip the wheel round and see if the slight dish in the wheel will permit
use of the threads on the other side.
Hopefully my new wheel built around a Goldtec[1] will arrive soon, solving
the problem, as commuting on a geared bike now feels odd. All that fiddling
with little levers...bah.
Then I can have fun thinking what to rebuild the old wheel with. Certainly
not another Sovos...

[1] They seem to be throwing the cost of spokes+build into the cost of a hub
and rim. Which is nice. Alas, there didn't seem to be an option on their
website for "send me the bits and I'll do the building" :/
