Did you get the DIWA lights? They are so cool - slow down and the back light

No, I've ended up going for Schmidt E6/E6-Z pairing. I'll keep my
battery powered cateye rear, it lasts for ages and avoids running a wire
to the back of the bike.

Not quite fitted yet as I need some longer mounting screws for the low
rider mounts, should be sorted for next Sunday's Eccleshall 200 though.
Hope it's nice and dark!

Also, I was amazed at how light the SON is, not a great deal heavier
than the CXP33/105 hub I took off and as the lamps are much lighter than
the battery jobs I took off, I reckon I'm hardly any worse off kg-wise.

I was surprised at the huge drag the hub has (spinning it by hand, off
the bike) but once it was in the fork it span for ages before coming to
a s-s-s-top. Notchy by nature no doubt.

Anyway, enough of my hub - you should see the state of my cassette,
never mind the rear rim looking pants now, and the rear mech looks a bit
wobbly then I may as well get a new front one as well, not to mention
chain rings and a new chain..... good grief, it's never ending.
