hub, BB, Headset tune-up/servicing intervals?

I have XTR hubs, and I was wondering if there is like a general rule on how many miles these things should go until the next servicing.. Currently, after 3 months, I these has about 1800kms on them.. The same goes with my BB, Headset, and other parts.. The chain I clean almost every week, so i think i'm overdoing it a little there. What do you think?
