I'm thinking of buying the Poznanter hub and cranks from unicycle.com and I just have a few things I'd have to get out of the way before I bought them. I live in Australia and shipping actually brings this price up to US$377.75 so that's US$78.75 for shipping.
Unicycle.com seems to have a few complaints on these forums with them getting things wrong, like giving people to right/left cranks or sending things already broken, and yes I now that you send it back and then you get what you're supposed to. But if that happens, yould unicycle.com pay for the shipping costs, I'd rather not spend an extra US$150 if they stuffed up the order. So yeah, would unicycle.com pay for the shipping if they messed up?
I can answer this question, as it just happened to me with profile cranks. I received my hub and crank and found that the left cranks splines were just a little bit off so the cranks were a bit crooked on the hub. I couldnt tell the difference while riding but i figured that for 300 this shouldnt happen. So I called them and they sent me a new crank VERY fast. I never got a shipping charge. As for returning the broken crank. They included in the box return postage things. They are good about this. Go for the hub/cranks, its worth it they are gorgeous.
Is that from unicycle.com (US)? It might be cheaper to go through unicycle.co.nz Tony and crew might be able to hook you up for less.
