Anyone mind a race announcement here. I'll probably get flamed for it, but
it doesn't take much for that to happen here. Hope this isn't too small
potatoes for you:
Hampton Roads Cycling Classic
This is a three day event starting in Virginia Beach, VA on Friday the 8th
of July 2005 with a total purse of $10,950 plus $2000 in omnium prizes
scored by placing in the three events. To qualify for the omnium you have to
register for all three events but are not required to start each race.
The main event on Sunday has an $8000 purse with $4000 in prizes for the Cat
1,2 race. This is a closed L-shaped course in downtown Norfolk on Waterside
Drive with one large 180 degree turn, a cobblestone intersection, and a wide
four lane finish.
Come race and enjoy the beach.
