I've been running one for nearly three years and 14,000 km, though it is currently strewn about
Larrington Towers in many pieces, as I felt sorry for it and decided to give it a long-overdue sprucing-
up. The suspension works very well - unless one is prone to ragged pedalling the "No-Squat"
business does exactly what it says on the tin. It's a bit on the lardy side, but there aren't many
hill around here so that's not too much of a hardship. It may be a little low for some tastes -
seat height 16" and quite reclined - but I use mine daily in central London and have not so far
been killed.

I liked the look of them also and test rode one at a bike shop near Chicago.
The seat was great, but it had the "superman" type handlebars and I couldn't
get used to having my arms straight out. They had another one with the stock
handle bars ,[close to the chest],and I thought ,oh yeah, that's what I'm
used to and rode it.
It was great until I tried to make a turn and the handlebars hit my chest.
This bike is made for a very slim person, unless you like the full arm
extension bars.
It is also very heavy, but very well made.

I too was and am very interested in the Speedmachine. I had the opportunity to try it for a week. I
had some problems getting confortable on it. I love the ride, it rides so smooth. It's fast too; At
least on the flat.
The main issue I had with it was the weight.
