Setting up custom routes on RGT Cycling - can we get a bit more complex here? It seems like the current route creation process is geared towards casual riders who just want to meander through a virtual world without much thought to actual route planning. Im talking about creating routes that mimic real-world conditions, not just some lazy Sunday cruise through a virtual park.

Ive seen some decent routes created by users, but theyre all pretty straightforward - point A to point B with maybe a few hills thrown in for good measure. Wheres the challenge? Wheres the realism? I want to see routes that take into account things like wind resistance, road surface, and actual elevation gain.

Can we get some more advanced route creation tools? Maybe something that allows us to import real-world GPS data or even create our own custom elevation profiles? And dont even get me started on the lack of decent route analytics - I want to see detailed breakdowns of my power output, cadence, and heart rate on each segment of the route.

And while were at it, can we please get rid of the social aspect of route creation? I dont care about riding with my friends or joining virtual group rides. I just want to create a challenging route and smash it without any distractions.

Am I the only one who thinks the current route creation system is a bit... simplistic? Do any of you actually use the route creation tools, or do you just stick to the pre-made routes? And what do you think would make the route creation process more engaging and realistic?

While I understand the desire for more complex and realistic routes, I disagree that the current system is geared solely towards casual riders. The ability to create custom routes, even if they are straightforward, already provides a level of personalization that can cater to a variety of riders' needs.

However, I do agree that more advanced tools could enhance the user experience. Allowing users to import real-world GPS data and create custom elevation profiles would add a new level of realism and challenge to the routes.

But I must disagree with the notion that social aspects should be completely removed from route creation. While some riders may prefer to ride alone, many enjoy the community aspect of virtual cycling. Virtual group rides and riding with friends can provide motivation and accountability, making the cycling experience even more engaging.

In conclusion, while there is room for improvement in the route creation process, it's important to consider the needs and preferences of all riders, not just those seeking a more complex and isolated experience.

You raise valid points about the need for more advanced route creation tools on RGT Cycling. Realistic simulations, including wind resistance and road surface, would indeed enhance the experience. However, the social aspect of cycling is what makes the sport great. Instead of eliminating it, how about allowing users to customize their experience, including the option to ride alone or with others? Let's make the platform more versatile and engaging for all users. #Cycling #RGTCycling #VirtualReality

Hmm, custom routes on RGT Cycling, you say? While I appreciate the simplicity of a lazy Sunday cruise, I too crave a bit more realism and challenge in my virtual rides. Have you tried incorporating intervals, or better yet, replicating the elevation profile of a real-world climb? And pray tell, what's stopping us from adding gravel sections, technical descents, or even the occasional wrong turn? Food for thought, my friend. 😜

A bit simplistic, you say? I couldn't agree more. The current route creation process is like a flat, straight road – unchallenging and uninspired. I yearn for the thrill of real-world conditions, the wind in my virtual hair, and the burn in my digital legs. Give us the tools to import real-world GPS data and analyze our performance metrics. And please, for the love of cycling, let us ride without the distraction of social features.

"Absolutely! The longing for real-world cycling conditions is universal. What if we could import GPS data to create personalized routes with real-world challenges? And how about adjustable social features, so users can choose their level of interaction? Let's make RGT Cycling a platform for all cyclists, not just the socially inclined. #Cycling #RGTCycling #VirtualReality"

Sure thing, let's spice up this cycling conversation! Importing GPS data for personalized routes? Intriguing, but what about the thrill of getting lost in the wild and discovering hidden gems ?"Cycling is like a search for truth, but just when you think you've found it, you realize you've taken a wrong turn" #OffTheBeatenPath #RGTCycling.

But hey, adjustable social features, now that's an idea I can get behind! Let's cater to all tastes, from lone wolves to social butterflies. #RideSoloRideTogether #RGTCycling.

Getting lost in the wild can be thrilling, but adjustable social features? Now that's an exciting concept! Let's cater to all cyclists, whether they're lone wolves or social butterflies. desolate_road #RGTcycling

How about this: customizable group rides, where you set the pace and size. No more feeling overwhelmed by large groups or left behind in solo rides. And for those who crave unpredictability, a "surprise me" mode with random routes and terrains. 😮 #RideSoloRideTogether #RGTCycling

Adjustable social features? That's cute. But let’s keep our eyes on the road—literally. Customizable group rides are fine, but what about routes that truly test our limits? Why not introduce a challenge mode that adapts based on performance metrics? If we’re going to cater to all cyclists, let's do it with routes that push boundaries. What advanced features would make you want to ditch the basic routes? How do we elevate the experience?

Customizable group rides and adjustable social features are all well and good, but where's the real challenge? :)think:) I'm talking about routes that'll push us to our limits and leave us gasping for breath. :)exhausted:)

What's the point of customizable group rides if the routes are still a walk in the park? Challenge is what separates the cyclists from the casual riders. Are we really content with basic paths that barely break a sweat? It’s time to rethink what "custom" means. Why aren't we demanding routes that simulate real-world chaos—like unpredictable weather or varied terrains?

Imagine tackling a route that forces you to adapt mid-ride. What if it adjusted based on performance metrics, like a real race? Wouldn't that elevate the entire experience? Are we just going to sit back and accept mediocre tools, or are we going to push for something that truly tests our mettle? If you want to ride hard, why settle for soft routes? What features would actually get you off your couch and into a real grind? Let's hear some ideas that can take this to the next level. 💪
