sounds weird but I can't post to their forums despite having done so
before. Yes, I am logged in.
I just cannot find a button or a link to post of start a new subject
anywherer on thier web site.

The your not really logged in. There should be new topic etc buttons at
the top of the topic list, and at the bottom of an open topic there is
a box for a reply. If you haven't got either of these then log in
again.
