  1. My mom always used to make almond-stuffed dates at the holidays. I just
stuffed my pitted dates with roasted almonds, but they need some
pizzazz. Any ideas what I could do to jazz them up? I was thinking
about maybe a tiny glob of cream cheese or goat cheese. No bacon, no
    meats for our household please.

  2. Roll them in sugar

Yup, stuffed with cream cheese, and rolled in shredded coconut.

  4. Use the cheese. Then, dust--very lightly--with cayenne.
