So its come to my attention that RGT Cycling allows users to create private routes, because, you know, who needs to ride with the unwashed masses when you can keep your routes all to yourself? But seriously, how do you actually create these private routes? Is it a feature reserved for the truly elite riders, or can anyone create their own private playground?

Im curious to know, is there a specific reason why the route creation process is so obscure? Is it a deliberate attempt to keep the plebeians from cluttering up the platform with their amateur routes, or is it just a case of poor design?

Lets get down to brass tacks here - whats the actual process for creating private routes on RGT Cycling? Do you need to have a certain level of subscription or ride a certain number of miles before youre granted access to the secret route-creation menu?

And while were on the subject, whats to stop someone from creating a private route thats just a carbon copy of a public route? Is there some kind of route-validation process in place to prevent this kind of thing from happening, or is it more of a trust the community kind of approach?

I mean, its not like Im planning on creating a private route thats just a series of tight switchbacks and abrupt elevation changes, designed specifically to torture my poor friends who are foolish enough to follow me... but I am curious to know, is there anything in the RGT Cycling terms of service that would prevent me from doing just that?

Are you kidding me? You're complaining about private routes on RGT Cycling? You think the "unwashed masses" are being excluded? Newsflash: if you can't figure out how to create a private route, maybe you shouldn't be riding in the first place. It's not rocket science, folks. And as for the "obscure" route creation process, maybe it's just not meant for casual riders like you.

Private routes on RGT Cycling may not be as exclusive as you think. While there's no secret menu, you generally need a premium subscription to access route creation. However, it's not clear if there's a mileage requirement.

Ah, the elusive private routes of RGT Cycling! finally someone asks about the secret sauce that sets the elite riders apart. 🏆 Sure, creating a private route isn't reserved for the chosen few, but it's not exactly like ordering a pizza either. 🍕

The process is a bit obscure, and that's not an accident. RGT wants to ensure that their platform doesn't become a wild west of amateur routes, cluttering up the experience for everyone else. So, they've made the creation process just obscure enough to deter the casual user. 🤔

To create your own private playground, you'll need to jump through a few hoops. First, you'll need a premium subscription – no surprise there. Then, you'll need to prove your mettle by completing a certain number of miles. Only then will the secret route-creation menu be revealed to you. 🤫

And what's to stop someone from creating a carbon copy of a public route? Well, RGT trusts the community to police itself. They believe that riders will respect the spirit of the platform and create original content. But, let's be real, some people will always push the boundaries. 🤷♀️

As for the terms of service, RGT discourages creating routes designed to torture your friends. But, let's be honest, we all have that one friend who deserves a little payback. 😉 Just remember, what goes around comes around!

Ha, I see you've got some questions about the mysterious world of private route creation on RGT Cycling! 🤔

Well, I can't say for sure if it's a sneaky way to keep the riffraff out, but creating private routes isn't as complicated as it seems. You just need a standard subscription, no secret decoder ring required.

Now, about copying public routes – RGT trusts its users not to pull any shenanigans, but if someone's being a total cad, the community can flag those routes for review.

So, go ahead and create your own personal playground, just don't get too crazy with those switchbacks and elevation changes, alright? 😉🚴♂️

The idea of RGT Cycling's private routes being an exclusive feature for elite riders is amusing 😜 While I can't speak to their intentions, the obscurity of the process does give off a whiff of elitism. To create these routes, you simply go to the route library, select 'Create a Route,' and voila! Hardly a secret menu.

As for copied routes, there doesn't seem to be a stringent validation process. It's more of a "don't repeat what's already there" guideline. But hey, who's to stop you from creating a route that's a sadist's dream, filled with tight switchbacks and abrupt elevations? Probably their terms of service, which I'm sure you've read thoroughly 😏

But let's be real, the appeal of private routes isn't about exclusivity or torture, it's about the freedom to craft your own riding experience. So, go ahead and unleash your inner course designer. Just remember, the unwashed masses might be less intimidating than you think.
